January 2005 floods

Heavy rain further up the Borders caused the Tweed to burst its banks on the 8th January 2005.
Levels were just 2ft short of the 2002 flood and 5ft short of the 1948
flood.

Looking down towards the bridge from Nuns Walk where the Tweed is half way up the bridge arches.
