Coldstream sits on the Tweed, and the bridge across the river here divides Scotland from England. The two walks follow the Tweed to the ancient village of Lennel and back, and explore the spacious policies of The Hirsel, on the western edge of the town. |

Fishing on the Tweed at Coldstream offers the fly fisher a chance to experience some of the finest salmon fishing our home rivers can provide. Not only are salmon plentiful, but with an average size of about 12lb, the chances of hooking a sizeable fish, well into double figures, are high. |
